句子中的but是什么意思，为什么这么用？我从来没见过这样用的
句中possible的用法，我感觉好像是后置定语，可我以前没见过这样的，请好人帮忙解答一下，在这万分感谢了，最好是把句子翻译一下，能够更好地理解。

on demand 的翻译是及时么？不是按需么？

翻译成按需收视只是一系列潜在新服务的一种，宽带的应用使其成为可能。怎么样啊？

谢谢！还是有点不明白，为什么possible和前一个部分之间没有连词呢？这要的句子首次见到，还真难以捉摸！
