According to the statistics from the above pie chart, traffic accidents are primarily caused by drivers’ improper operation and pedestrians’ violation of the traffic regulations, amounting to 67% of the accidents altogether. The number is alarming. Besides, non-motor vehicle violations, drunk driving, speeding and some other factors have obviously contributed to the accidents.
There is no denying the fact that with the increasing number of cars on the street, traffic accidents are ascending accordingly as well. The reasons for traffic accidents lie in two sides. On the one hand, it is due to drivers’ improper operation or inappropriate conduct, such as talking with friends, calling their families while driving, speeding and drunk driving, which can definitely result in the road accidents. On the other hand, many pedestrians disregard the traffic rules, which can be attributed to the second leading cause. It is common to see some pedestrians climb or transcend the protective rail fence on the road just to save several minutes. Statistics show that thousands of people die from climbing or transcending the protective guard on the road every year.
Life is a priceless treasure, so we should try to keep us safe and spare no efforts to prevent traffic accidents. Drivers are supposed to have a clear mind and stay away from illegal driving, while pedestrians ought to cherish their lives and obey the traffic rules.

由以上图表得知，驾驶员操作不当和行人违反交通规则是造成交通事故的主要原因，二者总共约占交通事故诱因的67%。这个数字很惊人!除此之外，非机动车违法、酒驾、超速等其他要素显然也是引发交通事故的原因。
无可否认，随着大街上汽车数量的增加，交通事故的数量也相应地有所增加。交通事故的发生是由两方面原因造成的。一方面是由于驾驶员操作不当或因其不良行为造成的。比如，开车期间与朋友聊天、给家人打电话、超速驾驶、酒驾等，这些无疑会造成交通事故。另一方面，许多行人无视交通规则，这可以被归结为交通事故的第二大原因。他们经常只是为了节约几分钟时间而翻越道路中间的隔离护栏。有统计表明每年有数千人因跨越道路中间的隔离护栏而死亡。
生命是无价的，我们应该尽力确保自身安全并不遗余力地防止交通事故的发生。司机应该保持清醒的头脑，远离非法驾驶。而行人应该珍爱生命，遵守交通规则。

According to the statistics from the above pie chart, …表示“由以上图表得知，……”，这是图表类作文常用的高频句型，常见的还有The bar chart illustrates that…; As we can see from the pie graph, …等。
with the increasing number of…, …are ascending accordingly as well. 意为“随着……数量的增加，……的数量也相应增加。”这是文中的一个亮点句式，可灵活应用到写作中。
The reasons for…lie in two sides. 此句表示“……的原因是由两方面原因造成的。”常用来引出原因，考生可模仿使用，为自己的文章添彩。
