4月15日 复习了一下2天前背诵的2-2Breakfast or Lunch

It was Sunday. I never get up early on Sundays. I sometimes stay in bed until lunchtime. Last Sunday I did not get up early. I looked out of the window. It was dark outside. \'What a day!\' I thought. \'It\'s raining again!\' Just then, the telephone rang. It was my aunt Lucy. \'I\'ve just arrived by train.\' She said. \'I\'m coming to see you.\' \'But I am still having breakfast!\' I said. \'What are you doing?\' She asked. \'I am having breakfast!\' I repeated. \'Dear me,\' She said. \'Do you always get up so late? It\'s one o\'clock!\'
有一整句都错了，看来背诵过后还是要经常复习的...

4月14日 2-3 PostcardsPostcarks always spoil my holidays. Last summer, I went to Italy. I visited museums and sat in a public garden. A friendly waiter taught me many words in Italien. Then he lent me a book. I read several lines, but I did not understand a word. Everyday I thought about postcards. My holidays passed quickly. But I did not send cards to my friends. On the/in
last day I made a big dicision. I got up early and bought thirty seven cards. I spent the whole day in my room. But I did not write a single card.


错误好多啊!
还有拼写的错误，
day用on这个介词，这个记得很清楚，可是下笔时怎么就顺成in了呢...
thirty-seven，中间是要加连接符的，这个以后估计能记得了，印象深刻啊...

这几天好多琐碎的事情，似乎功课拉下了好多啊...
下周就能见到我那还未见过面的女儿，激动啊...

2-4 An exciting trip

I have just received a letter from my brother, Tim. He is in Australia. He has been there for six month. (months) Tim is an Engineer. (engineer) He is working for a big firm in Australia and has (already) been(visited) to a great many(a great number of ) different places in Australia. He has just bought an Australia car and has been(gone) to Alice Spring(Springs), a small town in the centre of Australia. He will soon go to(visit) Pinxton(Darwin). From there, he will fly to Perth. My brother has never been to abroad before. So he find(is finding) this trip very exciting.

错误很多，不过感觉这样有助于长时间的记忆...经常看看以前背的文章是不是能加深记忆呢...
原文visit用的真是好，我似乎没有用这个词的习惯，我知道了自己想到这个词总是与“访问”联系起来...

2-4 An exciting trip

1. day/month/year与 metre/ton/meal等都有复数形式，可是有时候我总是用错的...
2. work 表示工作（地点、单位、部门）时，不与定冠词\"the\"连用
out of work 失业
work, labor, toil的区别  三个词同为U.C 其中work用的最多
labor多指体力劳动，toil一般指文，费力、费时的工作
eg. This job will require a lot of hard work.
He was sentenced to 10 years\' hard labor.
Workers exhausted by years of toil.
work (away) (at/on sth.)
work (for sb./sth.)
work (under sb.)
I\'ve been working (away) (at my essay) all day.
The miners work (for) 38 hours per week.
She works for an engineering company.
I\'ve worked under her (ie. with her as my boss) for two years.
The craftsman works in leather, ie. makes leather goods, etc.

3. a great number of + C. only
a great/good many = many  + C. only
a great deal 很多东西，很多
a great/good deal of = a large amount of  +U.C. only
a large deal of, a plenty of, a good supply of 大多+U.C. 也有时候+ C.
a quantity of, quantities of 多+C. 有时也 +U.C.

5. be abroad    be, go, live, travel + abroad

6. find
有了解到的意思 eg. I find it pays to be honest.
How do you find your new job?
达到 arrive at (sth.) naturally, reach
eg. Water will always find its own level.
find (sth.) out: learn (sth.) by study or inquiry
eg. He had been cheating the taxman but it was years before he was found out.
