the 2004 version is a nice one. It's started when the hero was 7 years old. The boy was such a super hero who could go back to a past time, do something different and change the present time.
When he was just a boy, he suffered from memory loss. Always, for a little while, he remembered nothing. When he grown up, he found he could go back to chilldhood by reading his diary, which he kept from 7 as an observation of his memory loss, similar as his father, who was identified mad by the others, at a young age.
At first, his extraordinary ability only helped him to recall something happened in the past; however, when he became older, he found out that he could do something and change the whole story. A tiny act made everything different: he could save a young mother and her baby, who were killed by their mistake; he could save the girl he really loved; he could save his mother from sickness... However, there were alway something bad happened when one misfortune was fixed. He came to a place where he was treated as a psychopath with all his diaries lost. He had no more choice but came back to the day he first met his girl, he said terrible words with the girl and all went well then. But he and his girl became strangers. If that's the only way to substitude all those misfortunes, he would bear a whole-life lonelyness without the one he loved. |
