有一句话看不懂，麻烦各位给解释一下？

After all, what is the one modern form of expression almost completely dedicated to depicting happiness?
然而，几乎完全致力于描写快乐的那种现代表现方式是什么呢？
"one" 在这里是怎么个用法？如果是换作陈述的语序应该是怎么样的？我就感觉这是个多余的呢？ 真头疼！

这句话和上面的那句话差在哪里？我就感觉按着翻译应该是下面的这种表达方法。麻烦各位指点一下，谢谢！

Just as on smoking, voices now come from many quarters insisting that the science about global warming is incomplete, that it’s OK to keep pouring fumes into the air until we know for sure.这里的“insisting ”怎么个用法？用“insist”这个原型没有问题吧？麻烦各位有时间的指点我一下

one就是一种的意思。去掉也可以。
