1，mean的过去式是什么？
2，生活live的复数名词是什么？
3，Why not replace the shacks that blight the lives of so many poor people ,thrown together out of cardboard and mud, and prone to collapsing or catching fire ,with more durable structures?
请翻译并对句子结构作出分析。
4，there is no point in offering people the chance to buy a cleverly designed house if they have no title to the land they occupy.
请对 there is no point 以及 a cleverly designed house 做出适当的翻译。

解：
1.mean如果做动词的话，过去式应该还是原形mean
2.life的复数是lives，然而生活live，它是木有复数形式的
3.好像不认识的单词，或者有语意不明的。我可以查字典么？···当同意了哈！
我的答案：为什么不用更加耐用的结构来取代这些毁掉了这么多穷人的生命的窝棚？这种窝棚由硬纸板和泥巴扔在一起做成的，容易坍塌、着火。
这个句子，修饰成分的位置放置方面来说有点意思。其实翻译的时候对于修饰窝棚的成分的放置，我犹豫了蛮久，如果全部堆积在一个句子中，那么就太长了···于是I就断句了

4. there is no point 没有意义   a cleverly designed house 设计巧妙的房子。

为什么不将那些只用纸板和泥土糊成，容易坍塌和着火，并让那么多穷人生活破灭的窝棚换掉，取而代之以更加经久耐用的建筑？

参考答案的断句什么的真的很有水平啊，我觉得难度还是比较高的，就算我理解了句子的大意！！

我的翻译：
1.环境保护协会正在立刻出台很多的规定，部分是因为这些规定是法律相关的。

2.白宫的共和党领导指控政府通过大量的规定而提高能源的价格是阴谋，目的是推广其他的没有竞争力的绿色技术。

看完参考答案后，会想到 it is legally bound to是法律上的义务吗然后看到第二句简单的翻译，小伙伴们都惊呆了！！！

其实水果才是考研的好伴侣，又健康又果腹，晚上吃了也不会在肠胃里发酵神马的

你出的这个句子确实很有难度！！！我根本想不到啊囧，特别是第二句杀伤力巨大！！
