我觉得你前半句把它的意思改变了。

我觉得可以为：if we don't  have our English test next week,we will go shopping with you this evening.

if引导的从句用一般现在时，主句用将来时。

你如果把过去改为would只能说明那是过去将来时，但是前面的从句还是得用一般过去时，if we didn't have````,we would```

be to do something表示的是  将要干什么。跟is/are going to do有相似的用法，所以肯定没有从句是将来时态，主句仍用将来时态。而且从一般现在时可推，在过去时态里面，也不可能出现。
