动词连连看16

感谢大家一直以来对动词连连看的支持，为了更好的方便大家学习，开开决定稍微调整下这个节目的重点，今后我们的学习重点是用动词连接好的句子了哦，对句子我们只是寻找主干及句型，详细的分析可参考海豚姐姐的真题长难句集训~~并且我们的活动周期由一周两次调整到一周一次，留给大家充分的思考时间~~有什么意见建议请大家不吝赐教哦~~o(∩_∩)o...

现在大家忙于准备长难句了吧，今后的三个句子会依次增加难度，第一个句子难度与原有难度相当，第二个句子出自考研长句，第三个句子来自GRE，放心开开会适当降低难度的，我们的重点在学习嘛~~但是对于单词我们也不能放松哦，动词的识别可是划分句子的重要线索哦~~可见对于动词的掌握是至关重要的，基于此，在动词连连看中开到荼蘼会提供非动词，请大家用动词将它们连成一句话并完善时态，当然自主扩展更是求之不得，只要能自圆其说既可。

看下面的3组非动词，你来添加动词将它们组成一句完整的话。
1、the boots, of, the traveler, to, the mud
2、perhaps, it, humankind’s long suffering, at the mercy of, flood and drought, that, the idea of, forcing the waters, to do our bidding, so fascinating

译：游客的靴子上粘着泥。
adhere还有坚持的意思哦eg：I adhere to my resolution that I will not marry you.

Make:使得
译：可能正是因为人类长期遭受旱涝灾害的摆布才使得人们治理江河、供我驱使的理想如此令人痴迷。
分析：该句子为强调句型it is…that，翻译时可把该句型省略，将it is后的部分加重语气既可。句子主干为suffering makes the idea fascinating.
3、Now we must also examine the culture as we Mexican Americans have experienced it,passing from a sovereign people to compatriots with newly arriving settlers to,finally,a conquered people on our own land.
examine:检查，审问，引深为审视
experience：经历，感受，体验，遭受
译：现在我们必须也按照我们墨西哥裔的美国人的经历来审视这个文化，我们的经历是从一个主权的民族变成了新来的定居者的同胞再最终沦落成为一个在我们自己土地上被征服的民族。
分析：句中as结构，passing引导的句子都是做examine的状语，另外此处的from是from…to…to…结构，造成了句子难以理解

....第一句就难倒了

1、The traveler wants to wear clean boots of course, but the boots on his feet are blured by the mud because of the long journey.
这名旅行者当然想穿干净的靴子，但是他的靴子却由于长途跋涉被泥弄脏了。（好不容易都用进去了，汗。）
2、Perhaps it is humankind\'s long suffering at the mercy of flood and drought makes that the idea of forcing the waters to do our bidding so fascinating.
可能正是由于人类长期以来承受洪水和干旱的折腾，使得控制这些河流这样的想法变得如此吸引人。（这是考研真题阅读里的一个句子，我有印象的，嘿嘿。没有看原文，不知道自己翻对了没有。长难句真让人头疼，汉语我还搞不清语法呢，现在要我搞英语的语法，实在是难为人啊）
  先这俩吧，第三句还没等看，一想到是GRE的心里就惧怕三分了。

1.To our surprise, the traveler pulled the boots out of the the mud.
让我们惊讶的是，旅行者把靴子从泥泞中拉了出来.

1.the boots of the traveler can hardly get out of the mud,so he asked a passerby to help him.
那个旅行者很难从泥里把自己的靴子拔出来，所以他然一个路人帮他。
2.Perhaps it is humankind\'s long suffering at the mercy of flood and drought that makes the ideas of forcing the water to do our bidding so fascanating.
可能正是长期以来人类遭受旱涝摆布的苦难使得人们治理江河供我驱策的想法如此的动人心魄。
3.Now we must also examine the culture as we Mexican Americans have experienced it, passing from a sovereign people to compatriots with newly arriving settlers to, finally, a conquered people—a charter minority on our own land.
现在我们也必须审视这种文化，就像我们墨西哥裔美国人所经历过的一样：我们由本来的主权民族，变成了新来的殖民者的同胞，最终沦为一个被征服的民族——成了在自己的土地上被特许存在的少数民族。

的确有点难了……还好都搞定了……

a sea of mud (泥潭)，另外一些近义词：swamp（沼泽地）,morass(困境，泥潭，泥沼),
across:在此意思是通过，横穿某地
