It is helpful to make notes while listening
Listening is one of the important skillsin learning English. In my opinion, taking notesduring listening assists a lot in both routine practice and exams. Some peopleclaim taking notes is a waste of time, but our brains only lasts very fewseconds to remember something. These notes are tips to remind students whichpart would possibly be mentioned in the questions and choices. Besides, we canacquire much information from the recordings. I once took part in a nationalEnglish competition with this method. I took notes of key points instead oftaking it randomly, and this helped me a lot in achieving a high mark.
Above all, taking notes really helps a lot,but the fundamental factor is that listeners shall have a sharp ear and a clearbrain to filter useless information.
【闪光词汇】
remind v.提醒
acquire v.获得
randomly adv. 随意地
filter v.过滤
