【译文】
Tree peony, which is called “king of flowers”, is a very beautiful flower originating in China. The choice of tree peony in 1994 as the Chinese national flower was yet another honor to be added to the accolades and honorific titles bestowed on it over the centuries. Tree peony is the symbol of happiness and good luck. Besides, it also symbolizes the characteristic temperament and cultural features of the Chinese nation, the prosperity of the country, and the diligence of the people. In China, the tree peony in Luoyang is the most popular, and the full bloom of Luoyang tree peony will attract many tourists at home and abroad.
