这是一个带着大家每天背单词的活动，每天上线30分钟，跟着海豚背单词复习单词，快乐地攻下单词难关哦
有些事情可以有捷径，背单词也有捷径，但是没有捷到可以不下功夫就记住，所以，要有吃苦的准备哦。

本节目适用于以下人群：
1、正在备考，还没有背单词的，可以每天跟着我们的节目背单词；
2、已经背过一部分单词的，可以通过我们的节目进行复习，省去了很多复习的精力。

本节目分为如下几个步骤：
1、词根、图片记忆（看海豚给出的关系图形象记忆单词）
2、单词逐词记忆（看单词的英英意思和相关词汇进行立体记忆）
3、例句考核（现学现用，说出题目中黑体字在句子中的含义）
4、昨日重现（复习昨天学过的内容）

请理清图中的词缀关系，必要的话，请自己在草稿纸上学着画一下词汇关系。
今天要学的词缀是：
fab=to knit 做，编
fac=face 面部，正面
front 前面，正面
fact=to make 做；to do 做，为
fare=to go 走

做练习的时候发现很多同学都是指回答了单词的本意，在这里海豚希望大家背单词的时候多看一下英语的解释和英语的近义词，多看英英意思才能够知道这个单词的确切意思，因为毕竟英文翻译为中文的释义，还是多多少少会有一些误差。导致我们在理解句子的时候，把中文的意思拿来生搬硬套很容易出错。

fable	词义	a traditional short story that teaches a moral lesson; such stories considered as a group 寓言故事；寓言，神话传说（总称）［近fairy story，legend］ a statement, or an account of sth, that is not true 谎言，无稽之谈
fabric	词义	① cloth used for making clothes, curtains etc 织物，布料 ② ［用单数］the basic structure of a building, a society etc that enables it to function successfully （建筑物的、社会等的）结构［the~ of sth］
fabricate	词义	① to invent false information in order to deceive people 编造，虚构，伪造［近make up，cook up，invent］ ② to make or produce goods, equipment etc 制造，生产，装配［近manufacture］
fabricate	例句	The newly described languages were often so strikingly different from the well studied languages of Europe and Southeast Asia that some scholars even accused Boas and Sapir of fabricating their data. 这些新近被描绘的语言与过去已经得到充分研究的欧洲及东南亚语言之间的区别如此显著，以至于一些学者甚至指责博厄斯和萨皮尔捏造数据。
fabulous	词义	① extremely good or impressive 极好的，绝妙的 ② very large in amount or size 巨额的；巨大的 ③［仅用于名词前］things mentioned in traditional stories 神话寓言中的，传说中的

interface	词义	① the part of a computer system through which two different machines are connected（计算机）接口；接口程序，连接电路 ② the surface where two things touch each other（两个物体接触的）界面 ③ the point where two subjects, events etc meet and affect each other（两学科、两事件等的）衔接，接合点，相互作用［+between］ ④ to be connected with sth or to connect sth using an interface （通过界面或接口）(使)联系，(使)接合［+(sth) with sth］ ⑤ to communicate with each other and work together 互相配合工作［+with sb］
preface	词义	① an introduction at the beginning of a book or speech（书的）序言，前言；（演讲的）开场白 ② to say or do sth before the main part of what you are going to say 作为……的开端，作为……的开场白；为……写序言［+sth with/by sth，+sth by doing sth］
preface	例句	In a draft preface to the recommendations...Shapiro suggested that the panel had found a broad consensus... 在讨论的建议序言草案中，夏皮罗表示，专家组已取得广泛的共识……（1999阅读Text 4）
superficial	词义	① seeming to have a particular appearance at first, although this is not true or real表面（上）的，外表的 ② of or on the surface of sth 表层的，浅表的；表皮的，外部的 ③ not studying or looking at sth carefully and only noticing the most obvious things粗枝大叶的，不深入的，肤浅的［反exhaustive, thorough］ ④ not concerned with anything serious or important and lacking depth of understanding or feeling浅薄的，头脑简单的，缺乏深沉的感情的［近shallow］［反deep］ ⑤ not important and not having a big effect （变化、困难等）不重要的，影响不大的
superficial	例句	The casual friendliness of many Americans should be interpreted neither as superficial nor as artificial. 很多美国人不经意表现的友好不应被看作是表面或虚假的应酬。(1997 阅读Text 2)
surface	词义	① the top or outside layer of an object, an area of water or land etc表面，外层，面；水面，液面，地表；台面，操作台［近top］ ②［用单数］the outer appearance of a person, thing or situation; the qualities that you see or notice, that are not hidden外观，外表；显现、表现出来的特征［on the ~］［近appearance, look］ ③ to rise to the surface of water浮出水面 ④ to suddenly appear or become known after being hidden (隐藏或掩盖一段时间后)露面，显露，被公开 ⑤ to get up, esp. after being in bed for a long time (尤指久睡后)醒来，起床 ⑥ to put a surface on a road, path etc 给……铺路面 ⑦［仅用于名词前］appearing to be true or real, but not representing what sb really feels or what sth is really like表面（上）的；外表的［近superficial］

confront	词义	① to (make sb) face or deal with sb/sth difficult or unpleasant（人）(使某人)面对，对付，处理 (令人不快的或棘手的人或事物) ［+sth，+sb with sb/sth］［近face, brave］ ② to have sb/sth in front of you, esp in an unfriendly or dangerous situation 面对，遭遇，（尤指）对抗，与……对峙［近encounter, meet］ ③ (of problems or a difficult situation) to suddenly appear and need to be dealt with（问题或困境）突然降临，使……无法回避

facilitate	词义	to make an action or a process possible or easier促进，使便利，有助于［近assist］

facility	词义	① ［用复数］ rooms, equipment, or services that are provided for a particular purpose(为某种目的提供的) 设施（如房屋、设备、服务等） ② ［C一般用单数］ a special feature of a machine, service etc that makes it possible to do sth （机器等的）特别装置，（服务等的）特色 ③ ［C］ a place used for a particular purpose or activity (供特定用途的)场所 ④ ［用单数］ a natural ability to learn or do sth easily 天赋；才能［+for sth］［近faculty, aptitude, capacity］
faculty	词义	① any of the physical or mental abilities that a person is born with 官能，天赋［+of sth］ ② ［用单数］ a particular ability or skill that sb has 才能，技能［+for/of sth/doing sth］［近aptitude, capacity, facility, gift, talent, genius］ ③ a department or group of related departments within a university (高等院校的)系，部，院［近department］ ④［常用the ~］all the teachers in a university （大学的）全体教师［近staff］
manufacture	词义	① to use machines to make goods in large quantities （用机器）大量生产，成批制造 ② to invent an untrue story, excuse etc 编造（虚假情况、借口等）［近fabricate，invent］ ③ to produce a substance（人体）生成，产生［近produce］ ④ the process of manufacturing goods大量制造；批量生产 ⑤ ［用复数］ manufactured goods 制造品，工业品

fare	词义	① (公共汽车、火车、飞机等的)票价［近charge, expense, toll］ ② 出租车乘客 ③ 饭菜，食物 ④ to be successful, unsuccessful etc in a particular situation 进展，情况好、不好、更好等，过生活［+well/badly/better etc］［近get on］
farewell	词义	告别，辞行；（道别用语）再见，再会
welfare	词义	① the general health, happiness and safety of a person, a group etc 幸福，安全，健康；福祉［近wellbeing］ ② help that is provided, esp. by government organizations for people with social or financial problems (尤指政府机构提供的）福利；社会救济，保障金
