· Manage and execute short lead orders and shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
· Monitor system load board (from load shipment entry to delivery)
· Manage all exceptions related to the client’s business that TMC manages
· Identify and implement operational efficiency gains
· Make and respond to all changes submitted from the client in a timely and accurate manner (notify carriers & suppliers, reschedule appointments, etc.)
· Provide prompt and professional response to client's requests for additional information
· Hit tactical and operational KPI targets.
· Willingness to work on more than one account when there is a business need
· Work with client/carrier to identify process improvements
· Track and resolve successes/open issues
· Work with client and carriers proactively to manage carrier payables
· Manage all new carrier setups and training of TMC tools
· Manage all new warehouse setups and training of TMC processes
· Meet KPI target’s set from an operational and tactical level
· Develop customer savings and business story with Account Manager
· Manage and execute internal and external reporting
· Work with carrier/client to manage carrier performance
