睡莲因昼舒夜卷而被誉为“花中睡美人”。睡莲的花瓣对阳光和温度变化十分敏感。早晨九十点钟，外侧花瓣受到阳光的照射,生长变慢,内侧层背阳温度低,迅速伸展,于是花朵打开。中午时分,花瓣展开成一个大圆盘.而这时的睡莲花内侧层受到阳光照射,生长变慢,外侧层正相反,它的伸展逐渐超越了内侧层,于是就慢慢地自动闭合起来. 这样有利于在适宜的温度下开花或昆虫传粉，也是植物对环境条件的适应性。

虽然看起来像是从百度百科来的，不过我也是昨天看书才知道滴

Candock is regarded as sleeping beauty in the Flowers because of unfolding in the daylight and curling in the night. Its petals are very sensitive to the sunlight and temperature. In the morning the outside of petals grow slowly in the ray of sunshine. Meanwhile, the inside unfold promptly owing to the low temperature. Therefore, candock is gradually unfolding in the daylight. For the exactly same.reason, when the inside unfold completely its growing.becomes slow, and the outside unfold fast. So candock curls in the night。
额，好几个地方查了单词 ，感觉废话很多，求改正！
